Eli's done research for school on what food insecurity actually looks like, and it stuck with him. He wants to be a chef one day, and figures the least he can do, and complete his tzedakah project for a good cause, is to help make sure good, healthy food reaches the tables that need it most.
As his tzedakah project, Eli is raising money for Metuchen Food Pantry, an organization working to get fresh, nourishing groceries to neighbors who need them.
Thank you for helping make this project mean something.
Every donation, in any amount, helps buy groceries for a family close to home. Gifts in multiples of 18 (chai, meaning "life" in Hebrew) are a nice tradition if you're looking for a number.
